F-22 Tyndall AFB, FL 1:72 Model

The USAF needed a new air superiority fighter to succeed the F-15 Eagle. The Advanced Tactical Fighter program was created and the resulting aircraft was assembled using (by weight) 24% composite material, 39% titanium, 16% aluminum, and 1% thermoplastic. This resulted in the F-22's light weight, which makes it a remarkably maneuverable and exceedingly fast aircraft that utilizes stealth technology.

This Hobby Master 1/72 scale diecast model represents an F-22A Raptor belonging to the 325th Fighter Wing, 43rd Fighter Squadron "Hornets" Tyndall AFB, Florida. This aircraft was flown by Maj, Joshua Cabo Gunderson. Hobby Master has replicated the Raptor with great detail to render the beauty and majesty of the aircraft with the utmost care for accuracy and quality. Display stand included.
