The Museum of Flight Rotary Engine Cap

This washed canvas 100% cotton medium gray cap is manufactured by Zephyr.

The front patch features a depiction of the World War I Le Rhône Model 9C rotary engine. The Museum of Flight appears above with Seattle beneath. The name of the engine appears in script to the lower right.

Le Rhône engines powered many of the WWI Allies early fighters, such as the French Nieuport 11 and the English Sopwith Pup. Interestingly, German pilots favored Le Rhônes over the domestically produced Oberusel engines that their fighters were equipped with.

One size fits most, with buckle strap adjustment.
