Scott Hamilton began his career in commercial aviation in 1979 with the first Midway Airlines in Chicago. His journey spanned 46 years through 2025. After selling this company in 1999, he immediately founded the consulting firm Leeham Co. in the USA, followed by Leeham News and Analysis in 2008. He followed the career of John Leahy, who became known as Airbus's super-salesman, who was with Airbus for 33 years.
