C-130 Hercules, SEA Camouflage Postage Stamp 1:200 Model

"SEA" stands for South East Asia and is a USAF camouflage pattern created during the Vietnam War for low-level visual concealment against jungle environments. This paint scheme is comprised of dark green, medium green, and dark tan, with gray undersurfaces.

Like the mythological Greek hero it is named after, the C-130 Hercules delivered a truly heroic moment during the fall of Saigon. A single aircraft flown by a South Vietnamese pilot carried 452 refugees to Thailand, 32 of them in the cockpit alone. Overloaded by at least 10,000 pounds, it took every foot of the runway to become airborne, the pilot hitting the brakes while taxiing to close the rear doors.
