This diecast metal model represents a Curtiss P-40B Tomahawk, belonging to the American Volunteer Group (AVG) while based in Rangoon, Burma in December 1941. The aircraft markings are for the 3rd Pursuit Squadron, "Hells Angels." The pilot assigned to this aircraft was Flight Leader R.T. Smith.
Also included are Flying Tiger decals. These were received by the AVG and applied to their aircraft in the spring of 1942.
