The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is a multi-mission military tilt-rotor aircraft, with both vertical takeoff and landing and short takeoff and landing capabilities. The aircraft was designed to meet the needs of the Defense Department's four U.S. armed services. The V-22 takes off and lands like a helicopter, but once airborne its engine can be rotated to convert the aircraft to a turboprop airplane, capable of high-speed and high-altitude flight.
The Postage Stamp V-22 Osprey in United States Air Force markings is a 1/150 scale, die cast metal model complete with stand. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
