The Museum's Boeing B-52G Stratofortress, U.S. Air Force serial number 59-2584, was built in 1960 and is one of 193 G-models produced. It saw service in Vietnam in December 1972, during Operation Linebacker II.
Repainted in the camouflage scheme that it wore during its service in Vietnam, 59-2584 now serves as the centerpiece of the Museum's Vietnam Air War Veterans Memorial.
This aircraft is on loan to the Museum from the National Museum of The United States Air Force.
