About The F/A-18A Hornet
The F/A-18A Hornet portrayed here first entered service in 1986 and flew combat missions until joining the Blue Angels in 2004, serving with the team until 2016. This aircraft is now on permanent loan to the Museum from the National Museum of Naval Aviation. It can be found dramatically mounted at the main entrance to the Museum.
