The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long range jet bomber which has been continually operated by the United States Air Force since the 1950s. Designed as a high altitude strategic bomber it is manned by a crew of 5, including a pilot, copilot, weapons system officer, navigator, and electronic warfare officer (a tail gunner was also part of the crew up until 1991). Still in use today, it is expected to continue active service well into the 2040s.
The Postage Stamp B-52 Stratofortress in United States Air Force markings is a die cast metal model complete with stand. The B-52 has a fuselage length of 6.5" and a wingspan of 7.5" and is recommended for ages 14 and up.
