This 1/200 scale model represents the first 747 built, serial number 001, first flown, February 9th, 1969. "City of Everett," as it later became known, continued to serve as a test bed for 747 systems improvements and new engine developments for other Boeing jets including the 777. Donated by The Boeing Company to the Museum of Flight this plane is on display in the Museum of Flight's Aviation Pavilion in Seattle, WA.
