This hand crafted wood desktop model represents the Museum's Boeing B-52G Stratofortress U.S. Air Force serial number 59-2584. This aircraft was manufactured in 1960 and is one of 193 G-models built. It saw service in Vietnam in December 1972 during Operation Linebacker II.
Repainted in the camouflage scheme that it wore during its service in Vietnam, 59-2584 now serves as the centerpiece of the Museum's Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park.

The aircraft is on loan to The Museum of Flight from the National Museum of The United States Air Force.
